Sardinia Trip Planned for Easter

Great news, I have another climbing trip to Sardinia planned for easter. Hopefully I will do lots more (and harder) climbing than last year. there are many great sea cliffs that I am planning on climbing and also there are many outcrops worth a look further inland. I have a brand new harness ready for the trip (my old one was a bit dodgey, and a bit old) so I will be climbing safely.

Alien Rock Bouldering League

I have been competing in the Alien Rock Winter Bouldering League but everyone else is much stronger than me so I am currently ranked at 9th. You can see the full results.

6c Toprope!!!!

Great news! On Sunday I managed a 6c toprope at Alien Rock. For those who climb at Alien, it was the reds on line 1. It was a very nice climb if not a bit crimpy, my fingers hurt like never before. No pain, no gain!! Unfortunatly I dont have and picture of me climbing the 6c but I will re-do it next week and take some pictures then.

Hot Rock in Sardinia

A picture of me chillin' out on some hot rock in Sardinia (below). I was lucky not to fall! After this photo was taken i climbed down and had to walk through 500-100m of prickly gorse. Around this area on Capo Testa are quite a few "hippie" camps. These are only inhabited in the summer and almost all the "furniture" is left over the winter. When I say "furniture" i mean a matress, a bucket and sometimes a blanked or some cutlery. The picture on the top is of me topping out a very hard boulder problem. I'm not sure what grade it would be.
I'll get back to you soon!

Climbing at Capo Testa

I've got some pictures of me in Sardinia climbing. This photo is of me climbing at Capo Testa!!
I've got some other cool ones but htey take an age to upload!!
I'll get back to you soon!
